The arrival of a new Head triggers an inevitable range of emotions and expectations in every school community. Although much of the focus is on the new Head’s actions as they enter a school community, the transition to new leadership is ultimately the Board’s responsibility. This webinar will provide an overview of the Board’s responsibility to understand the complexities involved in a leadership transition and its role in creating the conditions for a successful onboarding of a new, experienced Head.
