What does a strategic partnership look like and how would that get created in practical terms in your Head’s first year? Tom Olverson of RG175 will discuss steps boards can take in your Head’s first year to create the environment for a collaborative, strategic partnership. Frequently there are expectations by the school community, including the board, to fix problems or address issues that the prior HOS did not do. Tom will advise you not to fall into that trap and instead focus on creating a long term plan to help your school thrive.
