Planning and organizing the work of the board is one of the most important roles of the board and its Chair. We aspire for our boards to function as highly effective leadership teams working in partnership with our school leaders to advance our shared objectives. Executing on this vision of leadership requires committee structures and board practices that focus our efforts on the work that matters most.

Using results from the 2023 ISCA member survey on committees,we will talk about how to plan and organize the work of your board for the upcoming year with a focus on committee structure, goals and assessing progress so that you are leading efficiently and effectively.
