Boards of Trustees need to plan for their school’s future and understanding the trends that are impacting the independent school landscape is critical to responsibly carrying out strategic planning duties. Each year, NAIS publishes the ’Trendbook” which compiles the latest research and analysis to help inform school leaders about the impact various trends may have on their unique school community. Those trends have included economic, demographic, workforce, philanthropic and equity and justice trends among others. The most recent Trendbook ’23 – ’24 edition has just been released and Amada Torres, Vice President of Studies, Insights and Research at NAIS, will select the most important recent trends that independent school board chairs should understand and be prepared to act on.
Presented by Amada Torres, VP for Studies, Insights, and Research, NAIS
